The M4 Ready Study Trip 2024 took us to London under the banner of Fruitful Europe, a question more than a statement: what does it actually look like for the church to bear fruit in a continent like ours? Christ Church Spitalfields became home base for a few days, and from there we let one of the world’s most diverse cities do some of the teaching.
The talks came from Øivind, Johannes, Luiz, Valentina, Rev. Wole, and Daniel, each pulling at a different thread of what fruitfulness means in practice. Around the teaching, the days filled themselves: tube rides between Russell Square, Hyde Park View, and Spitalfields, long evenings in nation groups and on Sunday morning, a scattering across London to visit local churches and see fruitfulness up close in very different congregations.
By the time we headed back to the airports, something had shifted. Fruitfulness, it turned out, is less about strategy and more about staying close to Jesus and to each other long enough for something to grow. Below you’ll find the highlight video and photos from the days we spent together.
